How do you keep War Thunder fun when progression starts feeling repetitive?
Closed thread Closed by archiveI still enjoy War Thunder, but sometimes I open the game, look at the research bar, play a couple of matches, and then wonder why I'm doing this to myself.
What do you do to keep the game fun when you're working toward a vehicle that feels ages away?
Do you set small goals, play different modes, or just take a break from grinding?

Trying a different mode helps. It makes the game feel less repetitive.
My goal is to have one match where I don't drive directly into the first enemy I see. Current success rate: questionable.
Taking breaks is underrated. If you're getting annoyed every match, another game for a few days won't hurt.
I also like learning one new vehicle instead of constantly chasing the next unlock. Getting better at something can be more satisfying than another research notification.
